general sessions warrant

my son obtained a sawed off shotgun it was turned over to the police he was booked he had a court date whe he appeared he was told he wasnt on the roll call that he could leave he wasnt told he had to return everyday to see if his name was on roll call so he didnt go back this was 4 1/2 years ago the police came and got him on a general sessions warrant what can we do?

if he had known he had a warrant he would have turnt hisself in but he didnt know we understand that this has happened to alot of people in sumter sc and people that doesnt get in trouble with the law doesnt know the laws like us i think its the courts fault for not telling him he had to report everyday he would have been there so he could get this behind him he has been arrested twice after that and there was nothing showing up so he was released so why now after 4 1/2 years

let him go to court, its all you can do unless you want to be out thousands of dollars... thge Judge will take care of it all...
