Hello Dpadilla,
Sorry that you are loosing hair. Since it is in the back and comes out in clumps it seems that it is a health issue. Several conditions are possible. If you are on a diet and not getting your nutrients, if using chemical on the scalp that you are allergic or sensitive to such as coloring , spray, relaxant in shampoos. Try to connect the timing of hair lost with new products or hair treatments that you are using and avoid them. It may be as simple as that. Or it cam be a disease or parasites on the scalp where small patches of skin detach together with the hair. In the later case a dermatologist should check it out. Watch out also for other symptoms since hypothyroidism or other diseases can also lead to it. Good luck.
