help me please

my maltese ..i took him to get his hair cut recently..he hasn't been the same he acts like he is scared to death now..he shakes really badly..i was wondering what could be wrong with him..he acts like he is in shock or something i'm really becoming concerned..any suggestions..

You might want to take him to the vet to determine if he was somehow injured during the hair cut. He may just have been traumatized by the situation. Was this his first haircut? Try to sooth him and let him know everything is okay since pets can sense their owners fear.

it sounds like he had a bad experiance at the barbers.i wouldnt go there again ask others that have been how thier dogs are.

My dog went to a dog groomer once and came out as if she didn't know where she was. I found out they tranquilized her. She was strange for a few days. Never took her there again.
