Question by caius Reward: 25 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Pending a resolution
now and then i get a herpes sore and take valtrex or valtren from the chemist, my question is if i have a big weekend coming and want to prevent an onset can i take it as a prevention or will it bring it on like a flux shot does.??

Valtrex is also suppose to suppress the onset of it...ask the druggist to tell you about this

valtrex is only used if you feel a out break comming on.. you can take it as a pre caution it wont kill you
