i have a friend that had an abortion when she was 15 their were no complications and her periods returned to normal, she is now 19 and tells me that she is infertile and has to be on hormone replacement tablets for the next 30 years and will never be able to have kids due to the abortion is this true

It is unlikely to get infertile from an abortion unless it was made under conditions that scared the uterus or other parts of the reproductive system.
If she got her periods, it does not seem to be an hormonal problem unless she needs them to avoid heavy bleeding from the uterus. It CAN happen. If she was told by a doctor that the abortion caused the infertility, he might be right. She can get a second opinion though.
