Atherosclerosis, plaque in artheries ,is a build up due mainly to saturated fats which harden and block blood flow .Blocked artheries can bring to severe problems including strokes. Eating a diet in low saturated fat has been found to partially reverse the process by allowing some plaque to be dissolved.
So watch out what you are eating. Medication also can help and in very serious blockage ,surgery can be performed to inflate the vessel. So , better eat your veggies!!
