i agree with roaming, any dog can be raised good or bad, however i have a couple of freinds that both have bulldogs, and they both have kids and/or grandchildren, and their dogs were raised to be very freindly, and they are, the kids play all day with these dogs and the dogs love it, i personally think these are very good dogs with children, but like i say, these 2 families have raised their dogs from puppies, infact one breeds them, both families have very little kids around, and even babies, and they never have had any problems what so ever ....... so it is all how it is raised,!!!!! raise it to be good, it will be,, raise it mean, and it will be..... bulldogs are (to me) not as unpredictable as pitbulls, that is my observation only though, i've heard many nasty stories of even good raised pitbulls, but can't say i ever heard the same about bulldogs,.. like i said this is just my observations, this is not in stone any where, but it is what i know about the bulldogs that i have been around in the last 10 or 15 years...
should you also not think of how your little people would get on with a puppy.my brothers childeren drove his puppy nuts by teasing and pestering him.im not saying you childeren would do this but a pey is a two way thing.not only has the pup got to be ok with chikderen but childeren have to be ok with pets.and as said above all depends on how puppy has been bought up.alls well that ends well.good luck and happy days with your pet
