italians and our culture

why do italians think that we/austtralians have no culture..?

People cultures are different in different part of the world, in different countries and sometimes in different part of the same a country (north or south).
Everybody has a culture but people are used to their own and say that other people have no. People like to feel superior to others. Just do what "feels right to you compare cultures and take the best part of each.

They are European, you cannot hold a candle to how these people treat human rights compared to Australian - we in Oz are way below any standard compared to Europe.

Now, we have no culture...hmm, I don't understand is the appropriate response.

Australia's history is young - Italy is much older.
Again you can not compare the two.

We accept our place with it's many different people and colorful cultures, but Australia is pretty plain and simple.
I think we should lay all this beautiful culture with the Aboriginal's if they care to share - this is rich in culture.
