knock on a 6.5 in the back of the engine

i have a 93 sierra just bough it and removed the engine to recondition it and got a re ring kit. The specs on the main bearings are 0.013 and some 0.016 called the guy who i was getting the kit from and he said they are normal from factory so he sent me the standard sealepower ones, put the engine together and it runs great, but it has sourse of a knocking sound coming from the rear of the engine im not sure if the knock is from the mains or what could be cousing it.
