my mum has calcium in her liver... what does this mean?

You need a straightforward explanation from either the doctor who detected the liver or from your doctor (who should receive a report from the first doctor). If you start looking it up in books and the internet, there are probably many causes, and you'll stress yourself out wondering if its the worst cause, when it might be something simple.
