motocycle license restrictions

I have been a car driver with a full driving license since 1976 i have also ridden motorcycles as a provisional rider from 1972
do i have to take a cbt to ride a motorcycle with L plates under 125cc using my car full license as a provisional license

hi rosgray as far as i'm aware you can ride a moped or scooter up to50cc on your current license but if you want anything bigger a cbt has to be done.
