my car wont start with key

my car will not start as the ignition key will not fully turnmy car is a BMW 740 1997 automatic. i have had no problems before with turning the key on

try squirting wd40 or similar thin oil into keyhole then gently turnkey.dont force it or you will end up with broken key.

Try turning the steering wheel in either direction as you turn the key. Some cars have steering wheel locks that won't let the key turn unless the steering wheel is turned.
