Cat food isn't designed to provide the full nutritional benefits to dogs. You can try switching to a different brand of dog food. Also, a visit to the vet may be necessarry to determine if something else may be causing this sudden change of preference.

Dogs are prone to eat jst about anything! Cat food does not contain the nutrients a dog needs. It is okay once in a while. Have you every tried switching to a raw diet. It would be something both your pets can eat and thrive on. It may be worth checking out. It will not hurt your dog, but a prolong diet of cat food will certainly have an affect down the road.

Do not let your dog eat catfood. You need to feed it a vet.recommended age and health appropriate diet. Don't forget it is very important that a dog eat kibble verses soft can food. This is important for strong teeth and gums. So its important to have the vet do regular oral check ups on your dog to make sure tooth decay is not the reason he or she is not wanting to eat their dog food.
