my yoyo loaches are sick

hi i have just brought 2 yoyo loaches and they are not healthy they wont eat and they have scales missing all over. i was wondering if it is likely to affect my other fish or if they have just been fighting, are they likely to recover i did a 50% water change and put a broad spectrum medication in. Will that help or are they likely to die?

Generally, Yoyo loaches get along well among themselves and do not fight. Some info for which fish are compatible with yoyo loaches.

Spectrum medication may help if it covers the disease they got. Calling the supplier may help. Another possibility is that they lost scales during transport and do not eat well when their water temperature is too cold or too warm.
