Are pine treesa conductor for electrical storms?

if your asking do pine trees atract lightning? my answer is yes, all trees will provide a place for lightning to strike and travel thru to ground, becouse of their height as far as the resin in a pine tree, resin is a poor conductor for electricity, not saying it don't conduct it, just saying SAP is a poor conductor of electricity, lightning will hit the highest thing around to and travel down it to ground,
