can i grow potatoes in a metal container - the container black steel.

put soil in bottom and as plant grows up put in more soil eventually soil be all the way to top and your spuds be ready.dont forget drainage holes in your container,

ps.enjoy yer spuds and dont over water watch out fer little green bugs and sprany with a mild soap solution that will persuade em to shif and go away.

oh they need plenty of daylight as well or they grow thin and not strong.try diff types in same pot for more variety.plant a marigold in the pot and that helps annoy bugs and they dont like it.
