problem losing weight

ive been exercising and dieting but scale says i weigh more is it possible im gaining musle?

Yes Lydia, it is possible to gain weigh when dieting because you are building muscle, however I bet that you can feel that you are thinner from the way your clothes fit you now. With time, your metabolism will increase and you will start seeing result on the scale too. Just keep up the good job!

You say you're dieting, but if you are actually not eating very much at all, or just once a day - you're starving. This will trigger a reaction in your body wherein it stores up fat... like rationing for a rainy day. Eating several small, low calorie meals or snacks throughout the day will keep your energy up, give you energy to burn (fat) and your body will not believe it is starving. So, eating is very essential to dieting... you can't lose weight (the right way) without it.
