the subject of a sentance may be what parts of speech?

A sentence is usually made up of "a subject", "a verb" and "an object", with other stuff mixed in. So, "Veronica saw the castle" ~ Veronica=subject, "saw"=verb, "the castle"=object. The subject does the verb on the object
