| I and probly the rest of us would think so, however it does not always work like that, you need to read the compromise agreement and see exactly what it says about you bidding on another job in the company, and if it does not say, i would recomend asking either the personel manager, the manager, or the boss, tell them you are interested in bettering your life, and your standing in the company, can't beleive they would look down on you for wanting a better position or pay, especially in these times, but be prepaired to possibly find out they made you sign something that does not allow you to better yourself or your standing in the company, not saying they will or did, but some employers are shady, and they have a reason for making you sign the compromise paper prior to employment, so good luck to you!! |
