| It depends. Has the dog been climatized to the outdoors or is he/she an inside dog? Do you mean at what temps a labrador would freeze? If the weather is rainy and cold and the temps drop considerably below 5-10 degrees what ever the dog is used to, then it would not be good for him/her. If it is your dog, and your dog is always an outside dog, and the temp is very cold, consider a warm, insulated dog house with a heavy flap on the door and fresh straw inside it, verses hay, since straw is warmer. The more you care for and about your dog, the more he/she will care about you. If the dog is not yours and you are concerned for the welfare of the dog, perhaps a call to your local SPCA could serve a useful tip. They or a Vet could answer your question best. I think all animals can live comfotable with humans, depending on allergies, if their needs are met very well and proper socialization and training has been invested in wisely. Rose7 |
