salt in my gumbo

Question by Joan Reward: 25 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Pending a resolution
I added too much salt to my gumbo, which is delicious otherwise. How do I remove some of the salt without ruining my gumbo?

get a tiny spoon or something and scoop it off or you could get your finger and poke it so the salt will come off

The only way I can think of is make another batch of gumbo (without salt) and mix the two together. This will effectively half the amount of salt per batch.

Add a potato to absorb the extra salt. Continue to simmer.
