saturn head gaskit

we have a 1998 saturn 1.9 4cly standard,as far as we can tell it has
a blown head gaskit,some told us when the haed gaskit goes in a saturn,not
to bother to repair it because in a short time the motor will go,can any one
give me any idea if this is right.

if you have the head checked for flatness by an engineer it mat need skimming.the only reason it will go again is if it aint done proper like.dont just change the gasket get head checked out as well.its worth doing well,if not dont bother coz bad work will come back and cause probs later.
