speedo clocks making beeping sound with oil light flashing, oil pressure ok

i have a mk3 golf 1.4 and changed the clocks because of damage to them. the new clock i have fitted come out off a mk3 golf gti. when driving the car for about 30 seconds the oil light and a beeping comes on ever time i drive. it dose not do this when car is standing still. and the oil in the car is fine. how can i solve this problem? thanks tez
