what happens when a 22 year old man has really big tonsiles and he gets them removed? does that have anything to do with their testicles or any other body part.

There are many reasons why a young man can be having sexual impotence. The more common ones can be due to medication he might be taking like anti-depressant drugs. Or it can be due to a psychological problem such as not finding his partner attractive anymore, or feeling like there is an issue with the relatioship (mad at each other/feeling guilty about something).
