You may feed your cat cat food (found at pet stores or supermarkets). This is the proper diet for them. They will eat most food that we eat, if they can get it but some food can make them sick. (No chocolate cake for Fido).
A stray cat, left in the street, will try to get food from garbage, some insects, bugs, or birds or mice if he can catch one. For more info how to feed , how many times a day and how to take care of a cat see:

they eat cat food n rats tuna n mostly anything u give them

plain sardines out the tin they willlick their lips

Any fish is yummy for them
They love cheese
Cat food from pet stores
They will eat just about anything but some things may harm them
