what is goin on with my fish

i have two like oscar fish and i noticed one is only breathing on one side of its gills and both of them are turning yellow and white what is the matter with them?

Sounds like ammonia poisoning to me, you need to do a LARGE water change immediately. If you don't have a NH4 test kit you need to get one and test the water before/after the change. Let me know the results and I can help further. If it is already affecting their color you don't have much time, Oscars are very hardy so it is likely quite high.
