do we keep the yhacint year after year

The Hyacinth is a perennial flower . The Hyacinth flowers in the early spring. They grow best in full sun to part shade in well-drained, but not dry, soil. It has a bulb which will survive only is it is dormant in the winter.(need cold temperatures in the winter to survive for the next year).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyacinthus_orientalis

watch the heat - try and maintain a moist plant during summer. Try to have a moisture map around it(if these are real) so it won't dry out. My plant is all dry and almost dead, and thats only a couple of hot days in summer. It wont make it though the entire season. I guess it will look like last year, A stick in the ground and then begin to grow in winter, and die again in summer.
