i would like to know why my loricariidae (sucker mouth catfish) is attacking my goldfish? is there something i can do to stop it?

What exactly is it doing to your gold fish, they are usually very mild mannered. Have you recently added either of them, i.e. territories were already in place... Are you feeding them enough? Have you made any recent changes to the tank? Also some infections can make the fish restless and cause strange behavior.
