Worms have been on this earth long before mankind they have adapted to their enviroment since time began they are very resiliant to weather changes and adapt to all climates. Tibetan monks protect worms even to the point of painstaking removing these creatures to a safer place when excavation or building work is to be done, when all worms have been removed then and only then will they allow the building or excavation work to be done.
